Tunica Casinos Reopen after Floods
Looks like even the forces of nature are not going to make Tunica casinos go away from the face of earth. Many USA casinos had to shut shop due to heavy flooding caused by the rise of water in the Mississippi in the region of Tunica. Well casinos that have gone to hell in the hands of lawmakers and new legislation took the flooding with a pinch of salt as the Gold Strike Casino has swung open its doors for gamblers after the flood. This has given inspiration for the rest of the flooded casinos to hasten work to reopen.
Some people face natural calamities with a different spirit. Sitting on his front porch a man watched as it started raining. Slowly the rain picked up momentum and came down heavily. When he finally realised that it was a flood, along came a rowboat, and a man who offered to help him.
But, the owner of the house refused saying that the Almighty Lord will take care of him. As the rain continued he had no other go but to stand on a chair in his front porch as the water level had increased. Once again there was a good Samaritan in a rowboat who offered to help, which the house owner refused yet another time stating that the Lord will take care of him.
As hours passed the owner of the house was found on the roof of the house, by a passing helicopter and the pilot offers to help. Once again it was the same reply from the house owner.
Finally the man on the roof of the house drowned due to rising water levels. When he entered Heaven the Lord was faced with a question by the man, “Lord, why did you forget to take care of me?”
The Lord answered “Now, what do you think the two rowboats and a helicopter were for?”
