Online Gambling Bill Evaluated in Washington DC
For mayor Vince Gray confirms that the bill was discussed at length. Mr. Gray strongly opposes the DC councillor Jack Evans’ claims the bill to legalize online gambling in Washington DC has not been discussed with council members before being committed to a budget bill in December last year.
It has been revealed in an interview with Bruce DePuyt of Newstalk that Vince Gray assures that the decision was decided upon during his final days as chairman and claims a suitable amount of time was taken to analyze the online gambling plan, adding that “it was absolutely at the forefront of importance”. He also reaffirmed that Congress had opportunity to deliberate, but had chosen not to do so.
