Casino Gambling Down In Kansas City
For the second month in succession Kansas City gambling revenue has been on the decline, but though the hit has been considerable the impact is still not as bad as the neighboring casinos so not too much of hew and cry! It has posted a 1% drop compared to the same period of last year, but still has done better overall compared to that of the first seven months of last year.
Lance Freck had categorically stated that Kansas should actually be thankful as their revenue is being impacted only marginally as opposed to their competitors who are just hanging on to the last strings for survival! One of the most hit is the gambling capital Atlantic city and the renowned Las Vegas where their revenues have declined drastically. The economy has made it so hard for the US citizens that they are hardly left with any surplus funds to spend at their favorite casinos as they once did.
In July of this year, gambling in Kansas casinos like Argosy posted reasonable profits while some casinos like Harrah and Ameristar had a decline in their earnings.
There is hope that this situation will improve and the Gambling capital will soon be restored of its prosperity, glamour and fame it is known for.
